The black Thermo Fan is a heat-powered stove fan designed to improve heat distribution by moving warm air forward into the room.
Placed on top of a stove, the Thermo Fan helps push rising heat forward, which is especially useful when a stove sits inside an existing chimney space. The fan is powered by electricity generated from stove heat through the Seebeck effect and a generator module.
Because it is heat powered, the fan can continue operating during load shedding.
